I'm wondering whether the same applies to PCMCIA / Cardbus. Particularly, Echo Indigo I/O vs MOTU Firewire Ultralite. Many analog ins and outs are not needed, and I'm not asking about which is a better value for features or even quality. Can anybody explain to me the difference between the two when it comes to their relative advantages/disadvantages - particularly the processor power they save, and other core aspects of how they process audio?

THEN... do you think the difference between Echo Indigo I/O and Firewire MOTU Ultralite is worth the extra $$ to go for the MOTU?

Thanks.

I'm not trying to spam or make a sale alright, just passing along the information like a good samaritan. you can get some great deals on equipment that you actually would want.

here's a link to the catalog:
http://www.dovebid.com/auctions/browsewebcast.asp?AuctionID=10150
